The declaration on Christian education. It asserts the right of every person to an education directed to the full development of the human person; the primary duty and right of parents in the education of their children; the right and duty of the Church to maintain schools of every grade; and the obligation of Catholic schools to form their pupils in both sound learning and Christian virtue.
